POP Art Summer Art Camp at the AGW!

For children aged 6 to 9 and 10 to 14.

Make Art Inspired by Andy Warhol!

This summer at the Art Gallery of Windsor venture into the world of Pop art! There will be something for everyone from exploring colour with painting techniques, still life drawing, printmaking to three-dimensional clay modelling. Campers will enjoy the art of Andy Warhol and be guided through new ways to experience his art by using strategies and techniques with a variety of materials and techniques. Book now for a one week or two-week camp experience.

Week 1: July 9-13 / Week 2: July 16-20

AGW Members: $180 weekly/$50 daily (day rate early and late-pick-up $60)

8:30am-4:30 pm - Weekly early and late drop-off and pick-up- $230

$25.00 half-day 1:00- 4:00pm

Late pick-up - $30.00

Week 2: July 17-21, 9:00am - 4:00pm

Recommended ages: 6–14

Cost:

Non-Members: $200/ weekly, $55/ daily, $30/Half Day (1-4pm)

AGW Members: $180/ weekly, $50/ daily, $25/ Half Day (1-4pm)

From food soft sculptures, miniature kitchen pottery, mixed-media landscapes made with food to still-life studies, featured art instructor April Morris will guide campers through new ways in which to experience and engage with food in visual arts.

Lunch & Snack Time

Please provide PEANUT AND NUT FREE FOODS for the morning and afternoon snacks and lunch. Due to severe nut allergies, it is imperative that parents and guardians provide appropriate snack and lunch food.

Please ensure your camper has enough snacks, a generous lunch and water bottle to get them through our fun filled days. Thank-you!

To protect children from the elements, please provide a water bottle, sun screen, hat, umbrella, rain gear (weather permitting) and a change of clothing.
