In conjunction with the exhibition Made in America, 1900-1950: Photographs from the National Gallery of Canada the AGW presents new summer programs.

Film: The Adventure of Photography: 150 Years of The Photographic Image (Part 1)
This documentary charts the history of photography offering examples of the work from such artists as Man Ray, Ansel Adams, Richard Avedon, George Eastman, Max Ernst, and Andy Warhol.

Tour: Amy Friend will lead a tour of Made in America, 1900-1950: Photographs from the National Gallery of Canada. Amy Friend is a Windsor artist working predominately in photography. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. She has received numerous awards and grants for her work, notably from the Canada Council for the Arts and the Ontario Arts Council. She is currently teaching in the Fine Arts Department at Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario.

Made in America: 1900-1950: Photographs from the National Gallery of Canada is organized and circulated by the National Gallery of Canada and presented at the AGW with the support of The Morris and Beverly Baker Foundation.
