Sundays in the Studio

Join us for family time and be engaged in creative studio activities led by local artists. Presented with the support of Anne Safranyos & family, we are pleased to offer Sundays in the Studio for a returning 5th year.

Featured Artist for July: Lynn Newman


Lynn Newman was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario. She attended the University of Windsor and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, a Bachelor of Education Degree, as well as a Master's Degree in Education.
Lynn taught for 32 years with The Greater Essex District School Board, specializing in Primary and Junior subjects including "The Arts". She is currently a docent at The AGW and has successfully conducted tours there for all ages and has hosted a variety of studio activities for over 11 years, beginning in 2005. 

July 1 - Happy Canada Day Hats
Design and decorate a fun paper bag hat for the Canada Day Celebration!
July 8 - Andy Warhol Pop Art PrintsPop Art Printmaking inspired by the Andy Warhol: Printed Food Matter exhibition.
July 15 - Still Life Sketching and Painting Fun for all ages!
Sketch and paint a Still Life Display inspired by Still Life: ‘Food’ for the Eye, Mind and Body.
July 22 - Acrylic Flowers on Canvas Board
Create a colourful acrylic flower painting to take home or give someone special!
July 29 – Fun Mini Clay Sculptures
Have fun creating cute mini clay sculptures you can paint when dry.

FREE with $10 Gallery admission (Free admission for AGW members, children under 12 and Indian Status and Métis Card Holders).
