Will You Be Our Valentine?

Sunday, February 14, 2021 | 2 pm – 3 pm

Roses are red, violets are blue, join us for a great afternoon on Zoom! On Sunday, February 14th from 2-3pm, join us for a Gallery Guide led virtual tour and art-making activity. Let the floral bouquets and still lives from the AGW permanent collection inspire your projects! Use what you have at home and join us for some Valentine's Day fun! We encourage anyone who participated to send their Valentines to a health care hero, long-term care home, or front line essential worker.

Suggested materials: Watercolour paper or sketchbook, watercolour paint or palette, markers, paintbrushes, clay, sculpting tools, ribbon, buttons, anything you have at home! 

Technical Requirements:
- A good internet connection
- A microphone and camera-enabled (optional) computer, tablet or smartphone, earphones
- The virtual date night will be delivered via the video conferencing app Zoom. Please download prior to the event.
