Johan Grimonprez: Dialogues is the Belgian multimedia artist and filmmaker Johan Grimonprez’s first solo exhibition at the Art Gallery of Windsor. Through a cinematic lens, he provokes daring conversations that challenge notions of globalization, and the political relationships between people and their governments on the big screen. Featuring the critically-acclaimed films, dial H-I-S-T-O-R-Y and Blue Orchids + Raymond Tallis | on tickling, the exhibition contemplates the global boundaries between reality and representation in cinema as well as blurs the relationships between the body and mainstream media imagery through various forms of dialogue.
