Artist/automotive designer Chelsea Greenwell will talk about her journey as an artist in industry, highlighting how her studies in the arts led her to pursue a career as a Concept Developer for Fiat Chrysler. Join the artist in the AGW studio for her talk and have a hands-on automotive clay modelling experience.
Chelsea Greenwell works at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles as a Concept Developer and Digital Modeler in FCA Product Design. She is currently in her second semester of her Masters Degree in Industrial Design (Academy of Art University San Francisco), with a specialized interest in Biomimicry. The artist’s belief is that in nature we draw not only beauty, but also resilience to inform design.
After earning her Bachelors of Arts from the University of Windsor (2015), Greenwell continued her education in Detroit at the College for Creative Studies in Professional Automotive Modeling (2015) where she focused on digital modeling and clay sculpting specifically for product design and the automotive industry.
