Join Professor Heather Igloliorte of Concordia University and former Art Museum Director and current Manitoba Senator Patricia Bovey as they discuss the transformation of Inuit Art and Culture since the 1960s. Igloliorte will explore the work of four generations of artists—Elders, Trailblazers, Fire Keepers, and the Next Generation represented in her national touring exhibition SakKijâjuk. Senator Bovey will discuss her experiences in the art museum field and how the Canadian Senate is responding to current issues. The panel will be moderated by AGW Executive Director, Catharine Mastin.
