Family Fun Sundays in the Studio

Thanks to the generous and ongoing support of Anne Safranyos and family, we're excited to announce that Family Fun Saturdays in the Studio is back at AWE! Join featured artist in the studio and create your own masterpieces! 

December – Lynn Newman

Windsor-born artist and educator Lynn Newman attended the University of Windsor and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, a Bachelor of Education Degree, as well as a Master's Degree in Education. 

December 1:  Design seasonal greeting cards. Print your cards using printmaking techniques. 

December 8:  Reimagine Winter: Reinterpret the season by creating a painting in watercolour.

December 15: Holiday Ornaments: Explore decorative artmaking using large and small plastic globes.

December 22:  Make a Clay Sculpture: Be inspired by the exhibitions on display.

December 29: Paint in Acrylic: Express your ideas in acrylic paint informed by your visit to the gallery.
